Popcaan Teams Up With Drake On “We Caa Done”

Popcaan and Drake have reunited for another long-awaited duet, “We Caa Done.” It also has a video directed by Theo Skudra and stars Lil Yachty and Kevin Durant.

Drizzy and Popcaan previously collaborated on two songs, “Twist & Turn” and “All I Need,” from the Jamaican artist’s most recent studio album Fixtape. Although the two have been friends for a long time, this is only the third time they’ve appeared on an officially released tune together.Popcaan Teams Up With Drake On &Quot; We Caa Done&Quot;, Yours Truly, News, May 20, 2024

Popcaan was featured on a leak of “Controlla,” which later appeared on 2016’s Views; the LP ended up utilizing a sample of Popcaan’s “Love Yuh Bad” on the Rihanna collaboration “Too Good.”

“We Caa Done” is set to appear on Popcaan’s fifth studio album, Great Is He, which was initially scheduled for release in late 2022. Since unveiling the project, the dancehall musician has released a variety of tunes, including “Skeleton Cartier,” “Next to Me,” and “Set It.” The album will follow Fixtape, his second major release under Drizzy’s OVO Sound banner following the 2019 mixtape Vanquish.

In 2016, Popcaan was signed by Drizzy to his OVO imprint. Announcing the song on his Instagram page, Drake stated that the new single would mark the first Unruly OVO first song of the year. Check out the tropical jam below.
