Portable Blasts TG Omori And Claims Seyi Vibez Stole Asake’s Style

Controversial Afrobeat performer Seyi Vibes is allegedly employing the same musical style as their colleague Asake, according to Nigerian music ace Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable. The “Zazoo” singer also criticized song director TG Omori for his rate card on a music video. Portable recently asserted in a video that Seyi Vibez imitates Asake’s style and that TG Omori hastened to collaborate with him because of his popularity.

Before now, Portable had vented on his official Instagram page when TG, aka boy director, charged him a hefty $50,000 to shoot a music video for his socially minded song, “Apostle.” It is old news that TG Omori, who now commands the highest fees for a music video shoot, directs the visuals for YBNL signee Asake’s songs. However, the smash song Chance by Seyi Vibez was handled by boy director. In a recent incident, Portable criticized TG Omori for abruptly switching sides.

Portable encouraged people to alter their pattern to avoid “see finish.” According to him, TG Omori began working with Seyi Vibez, whom he alleges is mimicking Asake, because TG Omori had “seen Asake finish.” Not content with that, Portable continued, saying there was no love in the city and that no one had yet been able to imitate his style.
