Portable Showed Up To His Concert In A Coffin

On Wednesday, the Afrika Shrine hosted the ‘Portable Live in Concert’ with Nigerian street-hop artist Portable. Pallbearers were seen dancing and entering the venue carrying a white casket where Portable lay in the now-viral video. As Portable made their spectacular entry, one could hear drums and traditional praises of the band in the distance. The moment the casket was uncovered, Portable appeared in his distinctive position and started performing.

This is not the first time a Nigerian performer has pulled a social experiment during a show. Asake performed with a goat in October while on his American tour. Portable would easily blend into that type of unconventional stunt because almost everything about him and his lifestyle can be classified as abnormal with a dash of chaos and controversy, just like he was involved in recently.

Portable attacked Fuji singer Small Doctor a couple of days ago, insulting and belittling him on his Instagram live session. Somehow both artists found a way to bury the hatchet, but fans of Small Doctor have refused to get the memo. At the recently concluded Afro and the Beats concert, Small Doctor introduced him in a bid to usher in Portable for his performance but was met with an angry reaction.
