Quavo Talks About The Migos’ Future

In a recent interview with GQ, Quavo discussed the future of the Migos, telling the publication that each member must become recognized as unique personalities in order for the group to remain as strong as possible. The remarks coincide with recent speculations that the trio of rappers are splitting up.

“It was all about Migos, Migos, Migos. The three of us,” he said addressing the first ten years of the group’s career. “I feel like every group member has to establish themselves. Their own body of work. If not, you start losing members.”

He continued by employing a football metaphor, saying that he should start concentrating on moves for himself because he has spent his entire career planning plays for the group. “I’m a quarterback in life,” he explained. “But now that I want it, I’m just going to show you.”

Quavo mentions that he’d want to work with Chloe x Halle and that he also wants to develop his career as a director. “I would love to do a video for other people if y’all want my vision,” he disclosed to the outlet. Quavo spoke candidly about his relationship with Saweetie and the viral footage of their 2020 elevator altercation in other sections of the conversation.
