SR3MM, a conceptual body of work by Rae Sremmurd that included the solo projects Swaecation and Jxmtro, was released in 2018. The release featured contributions from Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Future, Juicy J, Young Thug, Zo Kravitz, and more, totaling 27 songs. Rae Sremmurd’s mammoth effort was a top 10 hit, reaching No. 6 on the Billboard 200 thanks to selling 57,000 first-week album equivalent units after its release. The team received a gold accreditation from SR3MM as well.

Since then, the collective signed to Ear Drummers has maintained its popularity through several unofficial releases and team-ups, including “Watching Me” with Kodak Black, “Sober” with Afrojack, “Denial,” “Community D**k” with Flo Milli, and “Finger Food” with Duke Deuce. Outside the trio, artists like Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Jackson Wang, French Montana, Shenseea, Pop Smoke, and Skrillex may sing alongside Swae Lee’s distinctive voice.

Sremm 4 Life will officially be released on April 7, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi announced on Thursday. Along with the cover art, they posted on Instagram, “We sremm’d out all year. Previously, Mike Will and Pharrell collaborated with Rae Sremmurd on the songs “Chanel” and “Aries (YuGo), Part. 2”. The pair discussed “Chanel” and their experience working with Skateboard P during an interview they gave in 2018 for TRL.

Swae said, “The way he switched his flow up on that, that shit was crazy,” “You can tell he’s an OG. He knows exactly what he’s doing. It doesn’t matter what track it is—new school, old school—he can come on and finesse it. His verse was so hard.”  The group’s star-studded album SR3MM, which made the list of the Best Albums of 2018, will be followed by the soon-to-be-released Sremm 4 Life.

Tanisha(Pump That) is available on major streaming platforms as fans await the album.
