Rapper, Blueface, Has Been Charged In Las Vegas With Attempted Murder

The rapper, Blueface, real name Jonathan Porter, 25, was detained on Tuesday in Las Vegas on suspicion of attempted murder, according to police. Blueface is thought to be responsible for a shooting that occurred on October 8. There were no public details concerning the incident, and as of Tuesday night, there was no internet record of Porter being detained at the Clark County Detention Center.

Blueface is renowned for his fast-paced, conversational style. His Top 10 single, “Thotiana,” helped him become well-known across the country. He hasn’t been coy about his respect for gang life, boldly donning the color blue worn by Crips and working with Snoop Dogg to produce “Respect My Cryppin’,” a song that was put out in 2020.

Blueface was raised in several parts of the state after being born in Los Angeles. In North Carolina, he played football for Fayetteville State University before concentrating on his musical career. Porter has experienced legal issues in the past as well.

In November 2018, the rapper was detained and charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle; at the time, it was alleged that Porter and another party had gotten into a “dispute” at a gas station in California. He was subsequently granted $69,000 bond and released.
