The remix of Rema’s international hit tune “Calm Down,” which features Selena Gomez, reached No. 8 on the most recent Billboard Hot 100, according to chart news website Chart Data on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. As one of history’s most significant crossover Afrobeats songs, “Calm Down” has now eclipsed Wizkid’s “Essence” remix featuring Tems and Justin Bieber as the highest-ranking African single on the Billboard Hot 100.

On Rema’s debut album, “Raves & Roses,” published in February 2022, “Calm Down” was one of the lead singles.
