It is no longer news that Rema’s remix with Selena Gomez for the smash hit song “Calm Down” has won numerous awards in the UK and Canada. After the release of the original and remix versions, which also starred Selena Gomez, a multi-award-winning vocalist, Rema’s “Calm Down” has landed two significant honors in the UK and Canada.
The remix of “Calm Down” has received a 3X platinum certification in Canada after becoming a massive hit with more than 300 million views on YouTube and more than 240,000 digital single sales in Canada alone. In addition, the mega-hit also received a platinum certification in the UK after selling 600,000 single digital copies there alone. This is significant for the entertainer because “Calm Down” was also given a platinum certification in the US.
