Ringo Starr Has Announced North American Tour Dates For May And June 2022
Ringo Starr is fully prepped to hit the road with his All-Starr Band in mid-2022 to go on a North American tour for the first time in nearly three years! Starr, who celebrated his 81st birthday last year, had previously released a solo album, ‘What’s My Name’, back in 2019.
Since the LP’s release, Starr has dropped two EPs in 2021; ‘Zoom In’ and ‘Change the World’, respectively. NME described the former EP as “the sort of upbeat, unrelenting jollity we expect from Ringo”.
“Well-meaning and positive, ‘Zoom In’ is the aural equivalent of wishing somebody a ‘Happy Hump Day!’ over email, while wearing a daft grin,” read the review. “For all its flaws, this is a hard record to hate.”
Moving away from his solo work now, Starr was recently tapped by Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam’s front man, to join him on his forthcoming solo album. View the full list of tour dates below:
