“Signs,” the third studio album by Nigerian recording artist Runtown, is soon to be released. On Friday, December 9, Runtown, whose real name is Douglas Jack Agu, made the announcement on Twitter. Runtown posted the project’s album cover and tracklist on Twitter ahead of the project’s Friday, December 16 release date. The studio endeavor is devoid of features as well.
On the caption of his tweet, he wrote “DEC 16, SIGNS” as his announcement.
Runtown’s third studio album would be this one. His first studio album, Ghetto University, was released in 2015. Tradition, his second album of music, was released in 2020. After an indefinite break, Runtown made its debut appearance on social media in July 2022.
Up until his tweet on Friday, July 15, Runtown had been absent from social media for a few months, and his whereabouts were unknown. Some of the singer’s fans and followers responded to the move, with many speculating that he may have given up on music. Runtown was scheduled to release a new album titled Signs before going dark on social media, and he also released the album’s track lists.
Leading up to the album’s release, Runtown had dropped two singles, “Things I Know” and “Propaganda”, both of which charted on the Apple Music Nigeria Top Singles Charts.
