Nigerian Street-hop sensation Seyi Vibez is looking to turn up the heat in 2023. According to recent reports, the relentless Vibez is back in the stu again, this time with one of the greats as regards Afrobeats music; the Grammy Award-winning Burna Boy! An “industry insider” made this known on social media, stating that the pair are currently working on the remix to “Chance (Na Ham).”
Breaking the exciting news, this insider wrote that this new jam, still “in the works,” is the “biggest record of 2023 already.” While this information awaits confirmation from the artists involved or people from their teams, we all know that Burna jumps on the remix of a song and transforms it. Take Black Sherif’s “Second Sermon” and Asake’s “Sungba” for examples. Both became instant bangers upon release.
So if this information turns out to be accurate, we might have another Burna-influenced smash hit about to wreak havoc come 2023. “Chance (Na Ham)” is the fifth track off Seyi’s recent blockbuster album, “Billion Dollar Album.” A deluxe edition of the eleven-track album was released earlier this month, with five additional tracks joining the original song collection.
