Simi Requests Fans’ Assistance In Naming Her Next Album

Simisola Kosoko, a Nigerian singer, has demonstrated her creativity by asking her audience to name her album. Simi told her Twitter followers that she had finished her upcoming album but was unsure of its name. However, she has displayed her readiness to consider comments from her fans by asking them for ideas for the album’s title.

Similarly, prominent musician David ‘Davido’ Adeleke did the same thing in 2019 when he requested his fans choose his then-upcoming album’s name. This style of audience interaction is gaining popularity because it gives fans a sense of connection and empathy with their favorite performers. Also, it fosters trust because the artist is receptive to suggestions from the audience.

Between sharing fun times with her daughter on social media and supporting her superstar husband, Adekunle Gold, the talented vocalist has been appointed as one of the returning judges, alongside Obi Asika and D’banj, on the eighth season of Nigerian Idol, one of the biggest talent-hunt shows in the country.

According to Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria, producers of the show, which resumes for its new season on April 23rd, the celebs are being brought back as judges due to their success as performers and stellar performance in the previous edition.
