Snoop Dogg Divulges He Charges $250K For A Verse

If you want a guest verse from Snoop Dogg, just know it doesn’t come cheap.

The Doggfather recently met up with the Full Send Podcast for a chat in an episode that aired on Wednesday, April 20th. During his time there, Snoop was asked how much he collects for a feature verse.

“About $250,000,” he told the hosts. “You’ll get about 16 bars,” Snoop added, citing the number of bars in a standard rap verse. “And when it’s time to do the video, I need another $250[,000] up out of you. And you only got an hour so get to filming.”

Snoop Dogg’s asking price might appear very steep, but certainly not as high as many big artists that pull in over six figures to show up on a track. A verse from Jay-Z has been rumored to cost a rapper his entire budget. Also, Nicki Minaj is said to be charging $500K and upwards to lend her vocals to featured records.

A feature verse from YoungBoy Never Broke Again reportedly goes for $300K. Last year, DaBaby bragged that he also charges $300K for a verse. Last month, during an episode on the Full Send Podcast, Lil Durk revealed he demands $350K for a guest feature.
