Stonebwoy Releases His Upcoming “5th Dimension” Album Tracklist And Cover Art
Stonebwoy, a well-known Ghanaian superstar who is credited with creating “Afro-Dancehall,” an infectious mashup of African Reggae, Dancehall, today unveiled the cover art and tracklist for 5TH DIMENSION, his aptly named fifth career album, which is scheduled to hit stores on April 28th via Def Jam Recordings.
5TH DIMENSION will also feature “Life & Money,” with Stormzy, the album’s lead single, which was created by British-Ghanaian producer JAE5, who has collaborated with the likes of Burna Boy, J Hus & Koffee. This song will be included in addition to his current single “More Of You.”
Stonebwoy has emerged as one of Africa’s most significant new young artists because to his skillful combination of reggae, hip-hop, Afrobeat, and trap music, as seen by the album’s scorching tracklist. Together with some talented music producers performers, the forthcoming album boasts features from Davido, Angelique Kidjo, Shaggy, and Mereba.
This announcement comes three years after releasing his previous album, Anloga Junction. Stonebwoy, also known as 1Gad, explained the meaning behind the title of the anticipated album in a video posted on Twitter on Saturday, March 25. The record “goes beyond just the physical,” according to Stonebwoy. He claimed that the record is designed to elicit emotions and vibrations in its listeners.
