Suge Knight’s Son Excited For Snoop Dogg Acquiring Death Row Records, “Now We Can Start Winning”

Snoop Dogg has now acquired Death Row Records, and Suge Knight’s son can’t be any happier!

It was a pretty huge week for Snoop Dogg las week. Prior to his Super Bowl Halftime performance, it had been announced that Snoop had acquired Death Row Records. A full-circle moment for the legend. A time to be alive. With the acquisition in place, he plans to revitalize the label that helped him jumpstart his career that has spanned over 3 decades.

Suge Knight’s son, Suge Jacob Knight, reacted to Snoop purchasing the label his father started, saying it is a “victory” for the West Coast.

While having a chat with TMZ, Jacob said: “I’m happy just like everyone else. I knew beforehand that this was going to happen. This, to me, is like a silent victory because I spoke to all of these executives myself and pitched the ideas for merchandising for rebranding. Now to see it fall in the hands of Snoop, I’m happy it’s coming back to the West Coast. Hopefully, now we can start winning. We lost Nipsey, we lost Kobe, we lost a lot of things.”

Snoop, speaking gleefully in a statement said: “I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value.”
