Summer Walker And Ciara Tease Their Upcoming Collaborative Single, “Better Thangs”
Even though summer is still technically ongoing, all of our favorite musicians have already begun releasing music for the upcoming R&B season. Recently, we’ve heard from artists like Greentea Peng, Kiana Ledé, and Ari Lennox, but it now appears like Summer Walker and Ciara may be working together soon.
The “1, 2 Step” singer tweeted a teaser to her followers over the weekend, stating, “I’m so excited for my feature on #BetterThangs. Can you guess who it is?” While supporters suggested a number of excellent singers, @theshaderoom noticed that Walker had posted a picture of herself wearing a vivid green wig, a cropped white tank top, and denim shorts.
The caption simply read “#betterthangs,” possibly implying that the soon-to-be mother of two would make an appearance. Ciara posted a picture of herself wearing a similar-looking white tank top and bright orange hair to further fuel rumors. “Where my twin at??:) #BetterThangs,” she wrote right above it.
The comment section reveals that fans are anticipating hearing the two vocalists together. “Summer right on time for winter,” wrote one user. “This track about to be [fire] ,” and “I love this! These two have the most ghetto baby dads in the music industry,” added another.
