A recent Instagram post by streetwear brand Supreme showing Andre 3000 rocking clothing from the brand provoked a fever of expectancy that something might be in the works.
In the post, a picture of Andre 3000 on Supreme clothes and shades, the clothing brand merely noted who had taken the photograph of the musician in the caption. It gave no clues whatsoever about an imminent partnership.
But then, a partnership is what the post suggests even though Andre 300o, who hasn’t released solo music in years, himself failed to post the same pic on his Instagram. In fact, Andre 3000’s last known post on Instagram was over a year ago.
In February 2021, he had shared his drawing of an insect and noted how he had to use the sketch; else, it would revert to the public domain.
The songster might have been elusive since that post, but he has just provoked interest and hope in new music following his appearance on the Supreme Instagram page. Anyway, whether there’s a collaboration or not, the truth should be out around the time for the unveiling of the Supreme New Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
Until then, of course, you’re welcome to stay tuned for updates if you please.
