Swae Lee Reveals Wizkid’s Verse On French Montana’s ‘Unforgettable’

American artist Swae Lee recently disclosed that Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Wizkid was originally supposed to appear on Moroccan-American rapper French Montana’s smash hit single “Unforgettable.”

The 2017 hit, which had an Afrobeats vibe and was even shot in Africa, strangely didn’t feature any African acts, but Wizkid had recorded a verse for the song.

Swae Lee revealed in an interview that has been making the rounds on the internet that there is a version of the song with Wizkid’s vocals, but French Montana did not include it in the final release. He laud Wizkid’s contribution, claiming that he “killed the verse.”

Since the revelation, fans of both musicians have been buzzing with excitement, with many expressing a wish to hear Wizkid’s version of the hit song.Swae Lee Reveals Wizkid'S Verse On French Montana'S 'Unforgettable', Yours Truly, News, April 25, 2024
