T-Pain Says ‘Everybody Knew That Sh*t Was Happening’, As He Weighs In On Joe Rogan Controversy

T-Pain has weighed in on the ongoing drama surrounding Joe Rogan, who is currently in the thick of two raging controversies.

Sitting down for a chat with TMZ, T-Pain aired his thoughts on cancel culture right before facing the elephant in the room – the topic of the criticism heaped against Joe Rogan for COVID-19 misinformation and his repeated use of the N-word.

“Cancel culture only works if there’s action taken,” said T-Pain, who was clear to state that Rogan has been “saying all this sh*t before he got $100 million,” referring to the deal Spotify went into with Rogan to exclusively host his podcast on the streaming service.

“They need to get their money back, they spent $100 million on that man,” he said. “It sucks to say, man, but that’s just what it is dude. They don’t give a f**k.” He also said that if Spotify is to keep Rogan’s content censored, then they would need to take a stand against more material on the platform.

“They just want what’s making them uncomfortable now,” he continued, accusing some musicians of putting out what he called “murder albums.” “They gotta keep that same energy with everything.” Not up to a week later, Joe shared another video in which he apologized for his random, inappropriate use of the N-word.
