With tracks that embrace her R&B and new soul influences, Tems explores a variety of genres, including hip hop and Afrobeats, on her debut album, which also serves as a record of her artistic and personal development. Afrobeats sensation Asake and Grammy-winning American rapper J Cole are featured twice on the album, which features eighteen tracks.

Following her most recent success on the Apple Music US Album ranking, Tems is now among the Nigerian musicians whose albums have reached the top 5 of the ranking. Along with Wizkid’s “S2” EP and Burna Boy’s “I Told Them,” Davido’s groundbreaking album “Timeless” peaked at number two on the charts.

The same position as Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini” and Wizkid’s “More Love, Less Ego” was held by Asake’s sophomore album, “Work of Art,” at 4. The “NAHAMciaga” EP by Seyi Vibez peaked at number five, the same peak position as Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” and Olamide’s “Unruly.”
