Tems Finally Speaks After Her First Grammy Victory

After receiving her first Grammy, Temilade Openiyi, a gifted Nigerian singer better known by her stage name Tems, finally cracked her silence.

The phenomenal Tems won her first Grammy at the 65th Grammy Awards, held on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States. She was nominated in three categories, including “Best Rap Song” and “Best Melodic Rap Performance” for her contribution to the hit collaboration with Future and Drake titled “Wait For U” and “Album Of The Year” as a featured artist on Beyonce’s “Renaissance” album.

In the first tweet, Tems acknowledged God’s role in her massive global success, thanking Him and returning the glory to Him. Similarly, the beautiful vocalist sincerely appreciated her fans and supporters who have been by her side from the jump. She also made a promise of some sort when she wrote, “We up very soon,” which would probably mean that she has something up her sleeves for her rapidly growing fan base.

She had already announced that her debut album would arrive this year, so her recent tweet alludes to that fact. She also shared some hot new photos taken in a sheer black, lacy gown, looking as ravishing as ever. Check out her tweets of appreciation below.
