Tems Scheduled For Her Debut Solo Perfomance On Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show”

The Grammy-winning phenomenon Tems will make an appearance on Monday, May 20, 2024, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Nigerian pop sensation is anticipated to perform her latest hit, “Love Me Jeje,” which features a sample of the iconic track of the same name by Seyi Sodimu & Shaffy Bello. After joining Wizkid to sing their multi-award-winning duet “Essence” in 2021, Tems will be making her second appearance on The Tonight Show.

The show is a preview for Tems’s debut album, “Born In The Wild,” which will be available on June 7, 2024. Tems has released three singles ahead of her highly anticipated debut album: “Me & U,” “Not An Angel,” and “Love Me Jeje.” She also had an appearance on Tyla’s self-titled debut album’s track “No. 1.”

Tems has become as one of the biggest African music talents after making her breakthrough on the global stage in 2020 with her outstanding contributions to Wizkid’s “Essence.” Her upcoming debut album is scheduled to release after a number of noteworthy collaborations, including the Grammy-winning song “Wait For U” by Future, Drake, and Beyonce.

She received a nomination for the 2024 BET Awards in two categories: Best Gospel/Inspiration Song and Best Video Director for the song “Me & U.” In addition, the singer also recently announced her first world tour joined by new OVO signee and singer, Naomi Sharon.
