The 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards Will Be Hosted By Fat Joe

The 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards ceremony will now be officially hosted by Fat Joe, who claims it will be the “biggest award show in history.” After being recorded at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Center on September 30, the event is slated to air on October 4 on television. “This will be the BIGGEST award show in history,” a hyped up Fat Joe declared to Billboard of the event.

“It’s truly an honor to host and produce the BET Hip Hop Awards, and I can’t thank Connie [Orlando] and the entire BET family enough for this opportunity. We’re going to celebrate music, culture, and entertainment, honor the biggest and brightest stars in the world and make this an unforgettable night full of laughs and surprises. Always remember that yesterday’s host is not today’s host.”

The renowned New York rapper Joe continues to have a busy year with his role as host of the BET Hip-Hop Awards. He just disclosed that, with Dave Chappelle’s assistance, he will be making his stand-up comedy debut this fall and will give a one-man performance in his hometown. As a companion to Joe’s memoir, The Book of Jose, which is published in November, the event is anticipated to spotlight his life and achievements.
