The 2022 Latin Grammys Will Feature Performances By Rauw Alejandro, Sebastián Yatra, And Marco Antonio Solís

The 23rd annual Latin Grammy Awards will feature performances by Rauw Alejandro, Chiquis, Jesse & Joy, Marco Antonio Sols, and Sebastián Yatra, the Latin Recording Academy said on Monday.

A total of eight nominations, including Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year, have been made for Alejandro, who was up for Best New Artist in 2020. Sebastián Yatra, a nine-time nominee for a Latin Grammy, is nominated for four awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Jesse & Joy, six-time Latin Grammy winners, are up for Best Pop Vocal Album, and Chiquis, a past Latin Grammy recipient, is up for Best Banda Album.

This year’s Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year and five-time Latin Grammy winner Marco Antonio Sols will also perform. This year’s Latin Grammy nominees are led by Bad Bunny, who received a total of 10 nominations. These nominations include those for album of the year for “Un Verano Sin Ti” and record of the year for “Ojitos Lindos,” which features Bomba Esteréo.

None of the major four categories have seen a victory for Bad Bunny to date. With his nomination for “Un Verano Sin Ti,” he does, however, become the first artist to receive three consecutive nominations for album of the year. Additionally, he received two nominations each for best urban fusion/performance, best reggaeton performance, and best urban song in the same category.
