The Game Claims Ye Has Done More For Him In 2 Weeks Than Dr. Dre In His Career

Looking forward to The Game’s appearance on Drink Champs, N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN posted a preview of their interview with the L.A. rapper.

In the clip shared on Instagram, Game makes a very bold statement regarding his relationships with both Kanye West and Dr. Dre. “It’s crazy that Ye did more for me in the last two weeks, than Dre did for me my whole career,” Game said.

Granted, the teaser clip does not really provide any context as to what exactly prompted The Game to make that claim. That said, there’s also no denying that Kanye and the Compton rapper have been chummy lately. After releasing their collaborative single, “Eazy”, last month, The Game shared the stage with Ye at his Donda listening event last week in Miami.

Regardless of Game’s claims, it is a bit undebatable the contributions Dr. Dre made to The Game’s career. After Game inked a record deal with Dr. Dre’s label, Aftermath Entertainment, in 2003, Dre went on to executive-produce Game’s 2004 debut album, The Documentary.

The album entered at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after selling a whopping 586,000 units in its first week of release. The Documentary featured an extensive production from Dr. Dre, producing several tracks on the LP.
