The “Las Ruinas” Album By Rico Nasty Will Be Released In July

In December of 2020, Rico Nasty released Nightmare Vacation, a 16-track LP with features from Rubi Rose, Sukihana, ppcocaine, Don Toliver, Gucci Mane, Aminé, and Trippie Redd. This was the last album we heard from her.

The 25-year-old singer has announced that her new album, Las Ruinas, which likewise appears to feature a 16-song tracklist, will be released in the summer on July 22nd, will change things up. “My new project Las Ruinas coming in JULY,” she wrote on Twitter on Monday (June 20) afternoon. “My most experimental and vulnerable body of work yet. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this to life.”

The native of Washington, D.C., published the black and white cover image, in which she poses elegantly as a dark, gooey material pours down her hands. She gave additional good news in a subsequent tweet.

“July 22nd to be exact. And you can pre-order it. Show me [you] preordered for a follow back. I will be on Discord tomorrow talking about ‘Black Punk’ the music video, the [inspiration] behind it, etc.,” she remarked, regarding her most recent song. “I love all of you guys and thank you for waiting patiently.”

The pre-save lists her recent arrival, “Intrusive,” and “Vaderz,” which features Bktherula, as songs that are certain to be featured.
