The Music Video For Rema’s “Calm Down” Remix With Selena Gomez Has Been Released

On Wednesday (Sept. 7), Rema and Selena Gomez unveiled the music video for their latest single, “Calm Down.” On the remix, the duo trades verses as they stroll and dance about a vibrant house.

“Yeah, I know I look shy but for you I get down, oh, woah/ And my hips make you cry when I’m moving around you/ Do it once, do it twice/ I push back, you hold me tight/ Get a taste for a night/ Baby show me you can calm down, calm down/ Dance with me and take the lead now, lead now/ Got you so high that you can’t come down, come down/ Don’t you ask, you know you’re allowed, allowed,” sings the former Disney Channel star and Only Murders in the Building actress during her verse as she firmly writhes to the music and looks the camera in the eye.

Rema released the original song as the second single from his debut solo album Rave & Roses back in February, but Gomez only recently collaborated with Rema on the remix. Gomez has also been recording independently recently, hinting at a covertly in-progress follow-up to 2020’s Rare, which had the No. 1 song “Lose You to Love Me” in addition to “Look at Her Now” and “Boyfriend.”
