The Remix Of Rema’s “Calm Down” Becomes The Most-Streamed Afrobeats Song Of 2022
With the release of his smash track “Calm Down” from his debut album “Raves & Roses,” Afrobeats musician Rema has enjoyed year-round success. Selena Gomez helped with the international remix of the song, and Afrobeats fans worldwide appreciated it well. As a result, Rema’s debut Billboard Hot 100 entry was made possible by the remix, which also dominated the US Afrobeats chart.
The Selena Gomez-assisted remix has recently surpassed other Afrobeats songs to become the most streamed song of 2022. The single has received over 436 million streams overall when the original and remix are combined, according to a tweet from the official Twitter page of media outlet; We Talk Sound.

The Afrobeats superstar will join his fellow Mavin all-stars this holiday to shut down Lagos, Nigeria, as they have been locked in to perform for a cumulative schedule of 10 hours.
Their performance follows the release of their joint 10-track album, Chapter X, which pays homage to the 10th anniversary of Mavin Records, one of the biggest record labels in Africa.
