The Song “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)” Is Performed By Bruce Springsteen Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show

On Monday night (November 14), Bruce Springsteen made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform his cover of Frank Wilson’s “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do).” He stayed for an interview as well, during which he discussed his most recent album, Only the Strong Survive, the correct lyrics to the song “Thunder Road,” and the possibility of going to Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour.

The Commodores’ “Nightshift,” Ben E. King’s “Don’t Play That Song (You Lied),” and transgender pioneer Jackie Shane’s “Any Other Way” are among the soul songs that various artists have covered for the compilation Only the Strong Survive. Following Letter to You in 2020, Bruce Springsteen will release Only the Strong Survive.

It’s also the artist’s first compilation of cover songs since We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions, released in April 2006. Beginning on February 1, 2023, Springsteen will set off on a globe tour in support of his new recordings with the E Street Band. It will be his first tour in six years, and it will be a long one.

Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau defended the tour’s ticket pricing mechanism in a statement, despite criticism from fans of Ticketmaster’s “dynamic pricing,” which offered tickets at rates as high as $5,000.
