The Weeknd Releases A New Album Titled “Live at SoFi Stadium”

A 31-track live album by The Weeknd titled “Live at SoFi Stadium” was made available in conjunction with the same-titled HBO concert film. The songs span the majority of his best-known songs, while Ty Dolla $ign makes a cameo on “Oh No.” As Abel Tesfaye finished his extensive global tour in support of Dawn FM from the previous year, the Live at SoFi Stadium movie was released.

In addition to The Idol on HBO, Tesfaye has been working on a new feature project alongside Sam Levinson from Euphoria. According to a recent Rolling Stone report, the HBO premiere of The Idol has been frequently postponed due to script revisions and other production-related issues, which has angered some of the project’s crew members.

Tesfaye responded on Instagram by sharing a scene from The Idol in which he mockingly dismisses the magazine. A release date for The Idol is still pending. Recent criticism of The Idol, which stars Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd, has been contentious. The award-winning artist has nevertheless continued to diversify into the screen industry despite this. In the upcoming Trey Edward Shults film starring Jenny Ortega and Barry Keoghan, The Weeknd is also listed as a writer.

The Weeknd has indicated that there would be additional music released in the future, despite Live at SoFi Stadium being a compilation of his earlier tracks.
