Tiwa Savage Security Breach: Four Suspects Charged With Fraud And Threat To Life
Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian singer and actress, has recently been in the headlines for a variety of reasons, including a security breach and a financial fraud case. On Tuesday, four suspects, Eniola Adeniyi, Donatus Osabanumonu, Idorenyi Okon, and Michael Rodolphe, were charged with conspiracy, intent to defraud, and threat to life in the Yaba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
The defendants reportedly committed the crimes before April 13, 2023, when Tiwa Savage’s management claimed she had been nearly kidnapped. According to the prosecutor, the defendants fraudulently arranged among themselves to conduct themselves in a manner likely to produce a security breach, to Tiwa Savage’s annoyance.
They also sent messages to Tiwa Savage, giving her reason to be concerned about her safety. After reviewing their case file and obtaining the prosecutor’s approval, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun granted them bail in the sum of N300,000 with one responsible surety each in the same quantity.
The case has been rescheduled until May 31, 2023. Tiwa Savage fans are glad that the culprits have been charged and hope that justice will be done. Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage is busy planning her shows from April through June, which promise to be fantastic.
