Trick Daddy Puts The Blames On Trolls And Not BeyHive, For Backlash Over Beyoncé Remarks

Looks like Trick Daddy might be having a rethink.

Back in June 2021, Trick Daddy Dollars turned into a trending topic following his unsolicited remarks about Beyoncé and Jay-Z. “Beyoncé don’t write music and barely can sing her motherf*ckin’ self,” he said. “Beyoncé can’t sang!”

“Man, I watched my godmama train Beyoncé, vocal lessons all her career,” Trick continued. “I’mma give an unpopular opinion right now: Beyoncé is to R&B what Jay-Z is to New York. That’s why they together. Jay-Z ain’t never won the greatest rapper alive. Whoever put him on a level like that?” Immediately, the internet ate him up with insults and criticisms.

Fast-forward to almost a year later and he is revisiting his viral moment. Trick linked with TMZ Live to promote his new cooking show, B!tch I Got My Pots, and while the chat went on, he recanted his previous statements.

However, Trick wants to believe that the BeyHive was not responsible for those negativity he received because, according to him, they are “real Beyoncé fans.” He pins all the blame on trolls looking to tarnish his image for fun.

“Trust me, I love Beyoncé, I respect her business aspect, I have known her, I have watched her grow since a little girl into what she’s become,” he said. “I was talking about ‘sanging’ and ‘singing’ is two different things, and that’s what we was talking about. And one of these trolls took a piece of the conversation and put it on the internet.”
