Beyond his music, Shakur was also a notable actor, starring in popular films such as “Poetic Justice,” “Gang Related,” “Juice,” and “Above the Rim.” His influence extended beyond art, becoming a symbol of rebellion and an inspiration to activists today.

The ceremony was emceed by radio personality Big Boy, who spoke about Shakur’s legacy and the museums exhibits dedicated to the entertainer. Attendees included comedian Mike Epps, rapper YG, actor Bokeem Woodbine, and the Outlawz, a rap group founded by Shakur.
