‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ Trailer: Kim Tae-ri Grows Inspired By WJSN’s Bona

Netflix has released an official trailer for its upcoming Korean drama series, Twenty-Five Twenty-One. The new preview follows the life of highschool student, Na Hee-do, as her passion for fencing develops.

She watches fencing prodigy, Go Yoo-rim, who also is Bona of WJSN, on television, expressing her admiration for the athlete, and later going out on a limb to watch her every Saturday train for fitness.

Hee-do’s dreams are, however, crashed, when a teacher made the announcement that her school had decided to shut down its fencing club owing to poor funding.

Desperate for a turnaround, she comes up with a plot which she describes as “illegal” but which ends up landing her at a shady karaoke club, where Baek Yi-jin seems to come to her aid. Later, there is a formal introduction between the pair.

Twenty-Five Twenty-One is a story of five characters finding their ways through adulthood, romance and their dreams from 1998 to 2021. The series is led by Nam and Kim, with their characters meeting for the first time at ages 21 and 18. They later fall in love when they make their way back to each other at ages 25 and 21.

The coming-of-age drama also stars Lee Joo-myung as Moon Ji-woong, a former internet star, and Choi Hyun-wook, Hee-do’s class leader. Watch the official trailer below:
