Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival Makes a Comeback in 2023

The highly anticipated festival returns to Dodger Stadium with a hint of star-studded performances

After a four-year hiatus, Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival is set to make a grand return. The annual hip-hop festival will be back at the Dodger Stadium for two days this fall, as announced by the “Igor” rapper on social media. The festival is scheduled for November 11 and 12, marking the first installment since 2019.

The announcement was cleverly teased by Tyler in his cameo in the music video for the Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem song “The Hillbillies.” In the video, Tyler is seen holding up a button reading “Camp Flog Gnaw 2023,” followed by an exaggerated finger-point towards Dodger Stadium, hinting at the festival’s return to the 2019 event site.

Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, part music festival, part carnival with games and rides, has grown into a multi-day music festival since its inception in 2012. The festival has seen performances from stars like Chance the Rapper, Snoop Dogg, Kali Uchis, Solange, and the late Mac Miller.

While no line-up or date information for the festival has been released yet, the official website has been updated to include “The Hillbillies” video, suggesting that an official announcement is imminent. Given the manner of the announcement, speculation is rife that Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem might headline the festival.

Fans are eagerly awaiting more details about the festival, which promises to be a celebration of hip-hop music and culture. Stay tuned for more updates on Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival 2023.
