$uicideboy$ Closes the Yin Yang Tapes Saga with a Bang: ‘Winter Season (1989-1990)’ Takes the Spotlight
Release of new music video '5 'N The Mornin'', addition of concert dates, and exclusive track for Fast X soundtrack mark an exciting time for the trailblazing duo
NEW ORLEANS, LA – Dynamic duo and G59 Record$’s very own, $uicideboy$, have today unveiled their latest EP, Winter Season (1989-1990). This release concludes their highly anticipated 4-part Yin Yang Tapes series, which has been rolling out each Friday in May. The series showcases a collection of four 4-song EPs, each bearing the name of a season.
For the first time in over three years, the $uicideboy$ has collaborated with artists outside their G59 Record$ family. The Yin Yang Tapes proudly features Ghostemane in the hard-hitting track “Bloody 98” and Freddie Dredd on the captivating “Provolone & Heroin.”
This week, $uicideboy$ added another dimension to their creative genius with the debut of an animated music video for “5 ‘N The Mornin'”. The video, directed by renowned animator Tristan Zammit, who has previously worked with Metallica, Juice WRLD, and Lil Yachty, reveals the adventures of $uicideboy$-inspired characters Wetto and Blanco in a post-apocalyptic New Orleans.
In other exciting news, the group’s new track “Datura” is included on the official soundtrack for the latest addition to the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X.
Simultaneously, $uicideboy$ are preparing to hit the road for their upcoming Grey Day Tour 2023. The 40-date nationwide tour, which features a second show in both Los Angeles at the Kia Forum on October 12, and Denver at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 31, promises a lineup of supporting acts such as Ghostemane, City Morgue, Freddie Dredd (on selected dates), Sematary, and Ramirez.
