Afrobeats Superstar Davido recently received a lot of appreciation from US rapper Busta Rhymes following his performance in New York City. After a lengthy absence, the OBO Crooner recently reappeared on social media, and the veteran rapper seemed delighted to see him. In a viral video, Busta Rhymes was spotted giving Davido a firm hug. In addition, the rapper was overheard describing the DMW founder as a strong man and making sure to inquire about his well-being.
Davido marked his first outing since the release of his album with an intimate show for his NYC fans, which was a big mood from what clips of the event show us. Everyone had their phone’s up in the air, recording the precious moment while singing along with OBO, who gave his all, performing passionately like he was doing so for a lover. At some point, he even got off stage to join his admiring fans in the crowd, who were so welcoming.
Who would’ve thought a legend like Busta Buss would be in the audience? But it is no surprise that international superstars have been showing immense love to Afrobeats musicians lately. Months ago, when Wizkid shut down Madison Square Garden, Busta also linked with him backstage to give him his flowers, just like he did with OBO, as seen in the brief clip below.
