Victony Releases “Soweto” Remix With Assistance From Rema And Don Toliver

We weren’t sure who Victony would remix the song with until several Soweto Remix samples featuring musicians like Omah Lay, CKay, and Don Toliver appeared online over the past several days. Today, the talented singer, rapper, and songwriter released the official remix of the catchy song “Soweto,” which features American artist Don Toliver and Rema, the reigning Afrobeats prince.

The Tempoe-produced tune has been one of Victony’s most popular songs in his young discography. The original version is included in the singer’s 2022 extended play, “Outlaw,” which many consider one of the year’s top Afrobeats works. Don Toliver and Rema gave the track the perfect spice in their “Soweto” remix.

One of the most skilled beatmakers in the Nigerian music industry, Tempoe, produced the track’s melodic instrumentation with some distinct tweaking here and there. And both guest features rendered their respective parts while blending in harmoniously. In the weeks leading up to this new remix release, Victony had disclosed his present health condition.

The singer said he had recently undergone surgery and was advised by his physician to get tons of rest before resuming his superstar itinerary. So, as a result, he announced he would be taking that needed hiatus to be strong enough to get back on his feet. While we await his full recovery and comeback, you might as well check out the new jam below or on your preferred streaming platform.
