Victony’s ‘Soweto’ Remix Going Strong; Debuts On UK Singles Chart
As it enters its sixth week on the chart, Davido’s mega song “Unavailable” featuring Musa Keys maintains the No. 2 position. Rema’s new tune “Charm” and Adekunle Gold’s “Party No Dey Stop” ft. Zinoleesky continues at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively.
‘Feel’ by Davido jumps two spots to No. 5, while ‘2:30’ by Asake falls one position to No. 6. Both “Stamina” by Tiwa Savage featuring Young Jonn and Ayra Starr and “Gwagwalada” by BNXN featuring Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez climb one spot to Nos. 7 and 8, respectively. ‘Holiday’ by Rema makes a comeback at No. 9, while ‘Someone’ by Fireboy makes its debut at No. 10.
This week also sees the debuts of CKay’s “Hallelujah” featuring Blaqbonez at No. 11 and Amaarae’s “Co-Star” at No. 19.
As it enters its 19th week at No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart, Libianca’s “People” is still the top African entry. Rema’s “Calm Down” remains in the top 5 after reaching No. 5 and staying there for 37 weeks. Rush by Ayra Starr falls five spots to No. 37 while remaining at No. 1 for an additional 16 weeks. The “Soweto” remix by Victony featuring Rema and Don Toliver debuts at position 67.
