Watch Turnstile Wow At The “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” For NPR

Hardcore punk band Turnstile wowed many across the world with their performance at the “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” For NPR.

Their performance is particularly significant in that it’s reportedly the first time a hardcore punk band has played for the NPR series. Interestingly, the reception for their performance has been rapturous.

The performance followed a recent announcement by the group of a world tour starting this February. The imminent tour aims to promote their album, “Glow On.”

Formed in 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland, Turnstile has released four studio albums and five EPs to date.

“Glow On,” which they will be promoting with their world tour later this February, was released under the Roadrunner record label on August 27, 2021, and was their last project for the year. The said project had picked at number 2 on the United Kingdom rock charts.

By the way, the “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” is an initiative of the NPR to bring good music to people wherever they are, without the people having to be present at the concert venue. They only have to stream it from wherever they might be in the world. Sounds like the best way to arrest the arrogance of the coronavirus. You can check out Turnstile’s performance below.
