Davido, a singer, has achieved two distinct records with his fourth studio album, “Timeless,” on the US and UK charts. Davido, a multiple award-winning musician, released “Timeless” early on March 31, 2023, and since then, he has broken numerous records in Africa, the US, and the UK. With the release of his fourth studio album, Davido has already broken two records on the US and UK charts.
With all of its tracks debuting in the UK’s Top 100 Apple Music Top Songs chart, David’s “Timeless” album became the first and only Afrobeats album to do so. The album’s lead single, “Unavailable,” peaked at number 18. Also, ‘Timeless’ became the second Afrobeats album to reach the top spot on the UK’s Apple Music Top Albums chart.
The singer also made history by becoming the first and only African artist to debut ten songs in the top 200 of the Apple Music Top Tracks US list, with “Over Dem” at number 53. Also, “Timeless” made history as the first album by a Nigerian artist to top the US Top Albums chart on Apple Music.
And because the album has been doing well on various charts, many online users speculate that the singer could have one or two streaming farms up his sleeves, which he laughed off.
