Wizkid’s New Album, “More Love, Less Ego” Returns To Number 1 On The Charts

It would most definitely excite Wizkid FC to find out that More Love, Less Ego, Wizkid’s latest studio album, is back on top of the charts.

It’s been roughly two weeks since MLLE was released. The new album comes after his last hit album, Made In Lagos, which spawned a hit like Essence that catapulted the project and the artists involved to an all-new height globally. Following in the successful footsteps of its predecessor, MLLE has been raking in some crazy streaming numbers and is still charting in various countries.

One of such countries is Nigeria, home to the Afrobeats musician. As expected, the album peaked at number one on the country’s Apple Music Albums Chart, pushing Seyi Vibez’s project down to number two. But recently, newer studio projects have been dropping. This past weekend alone saw the release of the Mavin all-star album, Chapter X, alongside US producer Metro Boomin’s highly anticipated album, “Heroes and Villains.”

Chapter X first displaced MLLE from its number one position. Not long after that, Metro Boomin’s album climbed to the top of the chart and remained for almost a day before Wizkid’s album took back the sceptre and reclaimed its former position. Bit will it enjoy a long run at number one like his last project? We can only wait to see.
