Wizkid’s “No.1 Fan,” Carter Efe Solicits For A Davido Collaboration

If you follow Carter Efe on social media, you already know his ardent devotion to Wizkid. He even recorded the song “Machala,” which he sings about aspiring to be like Wizkid, his idol. You may also remember his problem with Berri Tiga when the latter accused Carter of underpaying him for the song. And despite all these setbacks, Carter Efe has taken to social media and tweeted Davido requesting a verse.

Indeed, what you heard is true -Carter Efe has requested a verse from OBO.

The contentious comedian and up-and-coming performer tweeted a request for a verse from the  Nigerian/international Afrobeat Powerhouse. But Following Carter’s proposal to Davido, Fanbase 30BG is convinced that he is just “chasing Clout” and intends to utilize Davido to gain influence and promote his new song, “I’m Not Gonna Let You Go.”

Carter Efe recently released “Oluchi” with Skiibii and Berri Tiga, and the pleasant afrobeat tune had interpolations of 9ice’s ” Gongo Aso.” It is uncertain if the verse carter is looking for is for a remix of the track, though. Davido, on his part, has been away from the social media space for a while, and it will be interesting to see if Carter can get a response from the DMW Leader -or even get his verse.
