Beverly Naya Biography
Beverly Ifunaya Bassey, the sole child of her Nigerian parents, was born in London on 17 April 1989. Beverly started acting at 17 while attending Brunel University to study philosophy, psychology, and sociology. At Roehampton University, she also pursued a scriptwriting and filmmaking degree. She mentioned that she moved to Nigeria because of Nollywood’s rapid expansion and the chances it provides for budding performers in an interview with BellaNaija. Beverly named Genevieve Nnaji and Ramsey Nouah as mentors in different interviews.
Her parents are natives of Ibuzor in the Delta State local government of Oshimili North. They remain anonymous to the media. Thus little is known about them other than that they are reportedly UK citizens. She occasionally posts her mom’s picture on social media.
She is the only child of her parents.
She isn’t married and isn’t said to be in a relationship that the media is aware of; thus, she doesn’t have children.
Beverly Naya is single. She splits her time between London, Lagos, and Los Angeles while focusing on advancing her career. However, the Big Brother Africa All Stars contestant Uti Nwachukwu and British-Nigerian actress Beverly Naya have been said to have “secretly dated.” The two had been spotted together at events, and they looked stunning. She later came out to refute the story, though.

Beverly debuted in the 2013 BET television series “Passport,” entirely produced in Atlanta, Georgia. Soon after the series ended, Naya was cast in a supporting role as the sassy and sultry Yaya Giardia on M-Net’s top-rated serial opera, “Tinsel.” In addition, she plays one of the four lead female characters in “Before 30,” a brand-new and exciting television series that takes its cues from “Sex and the City.” She also plays the lead in the movie “Surulere,” directed by Mildred Okwo, and executive produced by Rita Dominic. In addition, the same team brought you the critically acclaimed film “The Meeting.”
Beverly is undoubtedly one to watch out for in the future. In the upcoming months, Beverly Naya is allegedly said to star in her first big-budget, international feature picture, among other movies. Naya is not only a brand ambassador for Dark and Lovely; she is also an activist continuously seeking ways to contribute to positive social change. She started several campaigns, including #FiftyShadesOfBlack, which aims to inspire black women and girls to love who they are.
