He is a sterling example of the saying that a fruit does not fall far from the tree. Born to athlete parents (his father is the former Ma City ace Alfie Haaland), Erling Braut Haaland had his path in soccer cut for him pretty early.
Although born in England, he didn’t get to play for the English National team as his parents moved back to Norway soon after. There, the young Erling’s sports obsession took root. He had two older siblings who were more than happy to shower him with love and appreciate him as the baby of the house.
