Sir Lewis Hamilton is a British Formula 1 driver. Born in Stevenage, the United Kingdom, Lewis’s interest in motorsport began when he was still a kid. he was fortunate to have a father who encouraged him in that direction.
Anthony Hamilton had nothing – in his own words – besides robust faith in himself and his young son Lewis. He did multiple jobs to ensure Lewis got what he needed to pursue his racing dreams. In the intervening years, his dedication to the cause would prove invaluable.

Actually none of you might know that my mum’s [sur] name is Larbalestier. And I’m just about to put that in my name.”

Lewis Hamilton has two half-sisters and a stepbrother. His stepbrother is Nicolas Hamilton, also a professional race car driver. Nicolas was born with cerebral palsy – a disease affecting movement and coordination but he never let it hold him back. He drives a modified car in the British Touring Car Championship – where he has started 36 races. He secured a deal with AMD Tuning to race an Audi S3 for five events in the BTCC in 2015. Nicola & Samantha Lockhart are Lewis’ half-sisters. They are the product of his mum Carmen’s second marriage. He lived with both Nicola and Samantha up until the age of 12.
