Majid Michel Biography
Majid Michel is a Ghanaian actor, model, television personality, preacher, and humanitarian born on September 22, 1980. In 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2017, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.
After three straight nominations, he eventually took home the prize in 2012. Majid Michel attended Mfantsipim School. He attended St. Theresa’s Primary School before transferring to the Mfantsipim School, which also served as Van Vicker and Kofi Annan’s alma mater. Michel participated in theater productions in high school and belonged to the drama club.
Michel began his professional acting career by auditioning for a modeling firm a neighbor had recommended. Michel is one of the Ghanaian actors that entered the film industry when Frank Rajah Arase signed a deal with Venus Films’ Abdul Salam Mumuni in Ghana. The deal essentially called for Ghanaian performers to be introduced into the mainstream Nollywood film business and given celebrity power comparable to Nigerian stars.

His parents are Michael Michel-Erawoc, his father, and Paulina Olympio, his mother. The actor from Ghana is of Asian and African descent. Michael Michel Erawoc, his father, is Lebanese, and Paulino Olympio, his mother, is Ghanaian. Unfortunately, Paulino Olympio, Majid’s mother, has passed on.
Siblings
Among Majid’s ten siblings, there are four sisters and six brothers. His six brothers are Reggie Michael Jr., Isaac, Sputnic, Shawki, and Aro. In contrast, there are four less of his sisters than brothers: Isabella, Roberta, Juliette, and Georgette. Together with Majid, they were all raised in Accra, Ghana, at their father’s house.

In their nearly 20-year-old marriage, the actor and his gorgeous wife have been blessed with four lovely daughters. The two have attempted to keep the children hidden from the public without divulging too much about them. Except for the two older ones, Keira and Zara, respectively, the names of the other two have not been made public.
