Ned Okonkwo Biography
Kennedy Okonkwo is a Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and real estate tycoon born on October 12, 1977. Kennedy is from the Ojoto area of Anambra State. Kennedy was raised in Lagos, Nigeria, and attended primary and secondary schools. Kennedy attended both Lagos State University and the University of Ibadan, where he earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Psychology and his Master of Business Administration. Kennedy started Nedcomoaks Limited, a real estate business, from nothing in 2007. Kennedy Okonkwo Programme For Tech Entrepreneurs is his creation. In addition, Kennedy sponsors the Eti Osa community Oba’s Cup.
Though personal information about his father is not disclosed, in 1993, it was reported that Kennedy Okonkwo’s father passed away. Ned lost his father when he was just 18 years old. The fact that Kennedy Okonkwo’s father thought education was the best gift he could give his children significantly impacted his education. His father firmly believed that education is a means to end poverty and a necessary component of survival. Kennedy’s dad was much more interested in his academics than most fathers are, contrary to the typical situation where mothers are most concerned with their children’s academic performance. Kennedy’s dad would occasionally check on him at school, assist him with his assignments, and, most importantly, pay his school fees.

The three children of Kennedy Okonkwo and his wife are Nicole, Ryan, and Ivan Okonkwo, two boys and one daughter. Nicole, his first kid, and oldest daughter, recently turned ten. On April 13, she was born.
Ned Okonkwo’s wife, Ichechi, was born on February 3, 1985. She’s a native of Nigeria’s Anambra State. She is a billionaire businesswoman and the CEO of Victoria Crest Homes, Laundryking, Sweet Dreams Essentials, and Dream Estate Lekki Ltd. In addition, she oversees sales for the Nedcomoaks Group. In the affluent Lagos neighborhood of Lekki/Chevron, Ichechi founded numerous prosperous companies. During her NYSC service year in Lagos, Ichechi met Ned, and they hit it off from there.
Ichechi earned a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from Igbinedion University in Okada. In the UK, she attended the Metropolitan School of Business and Management, where she took various management courses in entrepreneurship. Before leaving to start her company, Ichechi worked as a GTBank employee before transitioning into the laundry industry and, eventually, real estate.
Ned Okonkwo’s net worth is estimated to be worth $80 million, according to Within Nigeria. Ned makes most of his wealth as an entrepreneur from his chain of businesses and real estate investments.
His exotic vehicles include a Nord Tank, a Range Rover, and two Rolls-Royce Phantoms. He is reportedly the first to buy a Nord Tank manufactured in Nigeria by Nord Automotive. The Nord Tank provides the total package; it is robust for rough roads and all-wheel drive and has noticeably higher ground clearance.
