Nkechi Blessing Sunday, born February 14, 1989, in Surulere, Lagos State, is an American-based Nigerian actress, film producer, film director, and screenwriter. In 2015, she produced her first film, “Omoge Lekki,” starring herself and Yinka Quadri. Omoge Lekki won the MAYA Awards in 2016 and was nominated for Revelation of the Year at the Best of Nollywood Awards. She also works as the director and CEO of Nkechi Films Production and the NBS Foundation.
Blessing is from one of the 17 local government districts in Abia, a Nigerian state in the country’s southeast. She attended Olu Abiodun Nursery and Basic School in Lagos for her primary education and Barachel Model College for her secondary schooling. She studied International Relations at Houdegbe North American University and completed a six-month diploma in theatre arts at Lagos State University.
