Nkechi Blessing Biography
Nkechi Blessing Sunday, born February 14, 1989, in Surulere, Lagos State, is an American-based Nigerian actress, film producer, film director, and screenwriter. In 2015, she produced her first film, “Omoge Lekki,” starring herself and Yinka Quadri. Omoge Lekki won the MAYA Awards in 2016 and was nominated for Revelation of the Year at the Best of Nollywood Awards. She also works as the director and CEO of Nkechi Films Production and the NBS Foundation.
Blessing is from one of the 17 local government districts in Abia, a Nigerian state in the country’s southeast. She attended Olu Abiodun Nursery and Basic School in Lagos for her primary education and Barachel Model College for her secondary schooling. She studied International Relations at Houdegbe North American University and completed a six-month diploma in theatre arts at Lagos State University.
Although the actress is currently single, she wasn’t always that way. She had married Ekiti politician Falegan Opeyemi David, according to verified reports. Opeyemi is a mystery, but he likes to identify himself on Instagram as the “Husband of all Widows,” a member of the British military, a philanthropist, and the CEO of the ODF Foundation. In 2015, following the passing of his father, he started his foundation. The awful living conditions his mother experienced at the time motivated him to focus primarily on assisting low-income widows in his community. The actress made her wedding announcement on Instagram on June 10, 2021, even though Nkechi and the politician wed in private. Their union was highly troubled and only lasted for ten months.
According to reports, Nkechi’s previous relationship produced a son named Elijah Novah Success. The father of the child is still unknown. However, the youngster has many social media followers and has already bagged an ambassadorial contract.
Given that her dad passed away when Nkechi was still very little, there isn’t much information about her father.
Gloria Sunday, also known as Iya Nkechi, was born and raised in the Nigerian state of Abia, which is in the east. Sadly, her mother, who once owned a highly successful restaurant, passed away in 2021.
The actress grew up with her siblings, Jennifer and their late brother, who passed away in June 2017 at the icy hands of death. Jennifer Ijeoma Sunday is the only one of her siblings still alive. She was born on September 29, 1999. She is a light-skinned aspiring model and brand influencer.
Nkechi Blessing, a controversial actress, is currently one of Nigeria’s wealthiest and most influential actresses, with an estimated net worth of $300,000, ranking her among the top 20 richest actresses in the country. Nkechi’s leading wealth source is her successful films, endorsement deals, real estate investments, and the several fashion and beauty businesses she manages.
Last year, the controversial Nollywood actress purchased a brand new Range Rover and thanked God for the achievement. But then, the stunning actress rushed to Instagram to show off her shiny new SUV, explaining that she bought the identical car she sold last year to complete her home.
Nkechi Blessing announced the completion of her freshly built home on social media, joining the ranks of homeowners. The attractive actress flaunted photographs of her new home on Instagram, claiming that it was the answer to her late mother’s supplications. The vivacious movie diva claimed that the house was her top priority for 2021 and that building it took six months of restless nights. She also expressed sadness that her mother is no longer alive to see her new accomplishment.
