Rahama Ibrahim Sadau is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, and singer born on December 7, 1993. She was raised in Kaduna and competed in dancing competitions as a child and during her school years. She rose to prominence in late 2013 after debuting in the Kannywood film business with her first film, Gani ga Wane.
Rahama has been in several Nigerian films in Hausa and English and is one of the few Nigerian actors fluent in Hindi. She was named Best Actress (Kannywood) at the 2014 and 2015 City People Entertainment Awards. In addition, she was named Best African Actress by African Voice at the 19th African Film Awards in 2015.
She was the first Hausa star to be named among the top ten Hottest Female Nigerian Celebrities in 2017. Sadau has worked as an actor in both films and music videos throughout her career.
